Mets are trending toward 162 game regular season (Edited)

Based upon Messbog's reading and counting of the game schedule (counted by hand twice), the Mets appear to be trending towards a 162 game regular season. This, of course does not consider certain x-factors, like whether a meaningless September game will get replayed after rainout or whether they actually played all those games in the earlier months of the schedule. This number is a pure estimate, I figured it out by doubling 81.

Edit:  Originally we posted that there were 180 games, this was based on doubling 47-42 record at the half, times two. Apparently, the mini schedule says we are beyond the half. Drats.
